En Casa

Donoso Studio En Casa is a collection of handmade items for the home. Designed, hand-printed and sewn in our NYC studio, each item is unique and one-of-a-kind. Everything is made to order and made with deep care and respect for the materials and the process. 

The patterns featured on the En Casa items come from an exploration of the chain link fence and fishing net as tools of entrapment, domination and dislocation. The delicate and whimsical gesture of the patterns give way to a different reading of the imagery. They become networks and links of power and support. Home takes on a different meaning in a time of reinforced borders, family separations and quarantine.
